Brad is thrilled to be serving as Director of a WBCT production having previously appeared onstage with WBCT in their very first production - Villains Only as well as appearing in last year's Cabaret. Brad received his BFA in Acting and Directing from URI and an MFA in Acting from the New School for Drama (NYC).
Terry is a RI-based actor, director, and sound designer who has been active in local and regional theater since 1986. Terry recently directed WBCT's 2023 production, Cabaret, as well as 2022's The Great American Trailer Park Musical. As an actor, he recently appeared with The Players of Pawtucket Community Theater in BIG - THE MUSICAL and will soon appear onstage with The Players at Barker Playhouse in They Promised Her The Moon. Award-winning roles include Judge Turpin in CTC's Sweeney Todd (2015) and Sidney Bruhl in Barker Playhouse's Deathtrap (2018). Terry is a founding member and the current serving President of West Bay Community Theater and is excited about the future of WBCT.
Alex Tirrell is a Rhode Island-based music director, pianist, vocalist, and keyboard programmer (Kurzweil & Apple MainStage) working in the Southern New England area for over 20 years. A graduate of Rhode Island College (BA in Music – Voice & Piano, 2011), Alex is the Resident Music Director at the Stadium Theatre Performing Arts Centre and Conservatory in Woonsocket, RI and a staff programmer for Stage Sounds, LLC. Alex is happy to return to West Bay Community Theater after serving as music director for the concert production of Cabaret last summer, and HAIR in 2022. Outside of theatre, Alex is a keyboardist and vocalist for the alt-pop/rock band Shryne, and is hoping to be releasing some solo music later this year.
Leslie Racine Vazquez has been dancing all her life and is excited to be choreographing Cabaret - In Concert. She has trained in ballet, jazz, tap, contemporary, modern, Middle Eastern belly dance, Hawaiian hula, and liturgical dance. Leslie has performed with and choreographed for professional dance companies throughout New England including Moving West Repertory Dance Theatre, Theatre Expansion, and Polynesian Fusion. Favorite musicals she has choreographed include Cabaret, BIG, Annie, 9 to 5, The Great American Trailer Park Musical, and The Sound of Music. She also enjoyed choreographing musical numbers in The Wizard of Oz, La Cage aux Folles, and Chicago
Sophie is thrilled to be working with West Bay Community Theater again. Previous credits include: WBCT's Cabaret (Production Stage Manager), Rhode Island Youth Theatre's Fractured Fairytales (Director/Stage Manager), Emerson College's A Wrinkle in Time (Assistant Stage Manager), St. Rose of Lima's Frozen Jr. (Assistant Sound Technician), Rhode Island Youth Theatre's The Lion King Jr. (Assistant Sound Technician). She currently studies Theatre at Wesleyan University.
Zach is excited to continue working with WBCT, where he serves as a Board Member-at-Large. He can be found on stage as well as behind the scenes and his credits include acting, directing and design. He was, until recently, drama advisor at the Exeter West Greenwich Jr/Sr High School. When not working on a production somewhere, Zach can be found performing solo acoustic music.
Laura Ash is a WBCT Board Member-at-Large and has been crafting all kinds of gizmos and gadgets for local theaters for many, many, many years. You’ve seen her handiwork for WBCT in Villains Only, The Great American Trailer Park Musical, HAIR and CABARET
Amelia is a founding member of West Bay Community Theater and the current serving Vice-President. Amelia has appeared onstage with WBCT in both Villains Only (2019 ) and last year's Cabaret-In Concert
Cait is thrilled to be making her West Bay Community Theater debut in Grease! She currently is a junior at Stonehill College studying education, English, and Theatre arts. Some of her favorite previous credits include: Into The Woods, Amelie, Murder on the Orient Express, Mamma Mia, Newsies, and She Kills Monsters. She would also like to express her gratitude to the WBCT production staff for their encouragement and wisdom in creating this show and to her family and friends for their endless support.
Morgan is thrilled to make her West Bay debut as Jan, a longtime dream role! She is very active in the Rhode Island theatre and performing community, where favorite recent roles include Little Red Riding Hood (Into the Woods, Jamestown Community Theatre, Motif Award Nomination), Evelyn Nesbit (Ragtime, Academy Players), and Puck (Midsummer Night's Dream, Head Trick Theatre). She is also the Artistic Director of Seaside Stage Society, a theatre company she founded in 2016. By day, Morgan is the Lead Concierge at the Vanderbilt Hotel in Newport, and by night, if you can't find her at rehearsal, you can find her at the library or at the Clarke Cooke House eating sushi. Brady is very excited to make his West Bay Community Theater debut as Sonny in Grease. Some of Brady’s past theater appearances include Kiss Me Kate at NKHS, Les Mis at NKHS and Beauty and The Beast at NKHS.
Dan is thrilled to be a part of this West Bay Community Theater production. He is an award-winning songwriter who, when he isn't performing, playing competitive Pool, or tearing up a golf course, is a practicing attorney who hopes after 35 years to get it right.
Claire is stoked to be preforming with WBCT this summer! With a background largely in ballet, she has trained at CPYB, and more locally in Boston, Mass. Off stage, she works as an adaptive swim instructor on the East Bay. Special thanks to my Fiancé for sharing the stage with me tonight!
Daelan is very excited to be joining West Bay Community Theater for the first time. He is going into his senior year of high school at NKHS. He participated in community theater productions with NK Drama when he was younger and had a lot of fun. He recently took part in North Kingstown High School’s production of Kiss Me Kate, his first production with the high school and an amazing experience. He is grateful for the opportunity to work on WBCT’s production of Grease.
Aiden Gartland is a former Arts student who is currently a Direct Support Professional. This is their first musical.
Chelsea Gartland is super excited to be a part of Grease this summer! She is studying to receive a Bachelor’s of Music for Music Therapy through her instrument of classical voice. Chelsea has performed in various performances at URI, including URI’s Opera Workshop. She recently played the role of “Ruby” in the University of Rhode Island’s production of Threepenny Opera.
Ella is so excited to make her West Bay Community Theater Debut. She is an upcoming senior at Chariho High School. She is enrolled in the Performing Arts Theatre pathway. Ella has been in many shows. including Little Mermaid (Ariel), Legally Blonde (Elle Woods), Frozen(Anna), Newsies (Katherine), Mean Girls (Karen), and many more! She would like to thank the WBCT staff, as well as her family for loving and supporting her. Enjoy the show!
Aster Kallman (Doody) is so excited to perform in Grease for the third time, now as one of his favorite characters. Previous roles include Angel (RENT), Cain (Children of Eden), and Fred (Christmas Carol). Aster has thoroughly enjoyed this production at West Bay, especially finally doing a show alongside his fiancé, Claire.
Ashley is excited to step into Rizzo’s shoes once more in her debut with West Bay Community Theater. Past favorite acting credits include the Witch in Into the Woods, Nurse Ratched in One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest, and Ursula in The Little Mermaid. In addition to acting, she has directed such shows as The SpongeBob Musical, Peter Pan, and Shrek the Musical.
Jake is excited to play the role of Danny Zuko in his first production with West Bay Community Theater. Some of his favorite prior roles include Davey in Newsies, Seymour in Little Shop of Horrors, Macbeth in Macbeth, and Harry in Mamma Mia. This fall, he will be starting his junior year studying Mechanical Engineering at Boston University.
Cierra is thrilled to be joining West Bay Community Theater for her first production since 2016. Cierra graduated in 2023 with a masters degree in social work from Simmons University and is a licensed clinical social worker. Cierra works full time as the Clinical Intake Specialist, Clinical Supervisor and Clinical Consultant of Youth and Family Services, HBTS and PASS programs, at Perspectives Corporation here in North Kingstown, RI. Cierra is also an Adjunct Professor in the Social Work Department at Salve Regina University where she graduated from with her Bachelors of Social Work in 2020. Cierra is so excited to share this night with all of you and thanks the production team and board for a welcoming return to performing. Grease is the WORD!
Marley is thrilled to be making her WBCT debut in Grease: In Concert! Marley will be attending the Hartt School of Music at the University of Hartford to works towards receiving her BFA in Acting. Past roles include Sophie in Mamma Mia (Millbury High School), Ghost of Christmas Present in A Christmas Carol (Stadium Theatre), and Beth March in Little Women (Enter Stage Left Theater). Hana Toler is excited to be joining West Bay Community Theater as Patty Simcox! She is a senior at North Kingstown High School and has done theater since she was 7 years old. Previous credits include Belle in Beauty and the Beast, Morticia in The Addams Family and Cady Heron in Mean Girls. She is so honored to be a part of Grease!
