 Laura Ash is a WBCT Board Member-at-Large and has been crafting all kinds of gizmos and gadgets for local theaters for many, many, many years. You’ve seen her handiwork for WBCT in Chicago, Villains Only, The Great American Trailer Park Musical, HAIR, CABARET, and GREASE.

  Tim Reid (Director/Choreographer) is grateful to West Bay Community Theater for letting him get back in the director/choreographer chair after an 11-year hiatus from theatre.

Tim studied dance for 10 years and has performed in many shows including most recently Hope Theater’s 2018 production of Evita in the role of “Che”. Other favorite roles include “Magee” (7 Keys to Baldpate), “Simon” (Jesus Christ Superstar), “Andy” (42nd Street) and “Mike” (A Chorus Line). He directed and choreographed shows at Bishop Hendricken High School for 8 years as well as having directed and choreographed productions at The Community Players in Pawtucket.

Some of his favorite productions he has staged are Godspell, Jesus Christ Superstar, The Crucible, Guys and Dolls, and Oklahoma!.  Tim is so happy to be directing alongside his assistant director and beloved wife, Taryn, and to have their amazing son, Tyler in the company as well. By day Tim is a theology teacher at LaSalle Academy in Providence.

Zach Searle - Technical Director / Lighting Design

  Taryn Mallard-Reid (Assistant to the Director) has performed throughout New England and New York, where she studied theatre at Hofstra University. Some past credits include the title role in Evita, Roxie and Velma in two different productions of Chicago, Mary Magdalene in Jesus Christ Superstar, the title role in Thoroughly Modern Millie, Nancy in Oliver!, Diana in A Chorus Line, The “Robin track” in Godspell(Day By Day), Adelaide in Guys and Dolls and Tessie Tura in Gypsy. Together with Tim, Taryn helped write, stage and choreograph the original musical revue Curtain Up, has worked as stage manager for a touring production of The Snow Queen and enjoyed teaching actioning classes and coaching performers to prep for auditions. Taryn's favorite role is as wife to Tim and mom to Tyler and Taya.

  Zach is excited to continue working with WBCT, where he serves as a Board Member-at-Large. He can be found on  stage as well as behind the scenes and his credits include acting, directing and design. He was, until recently, drama advisor at the Exeter West Greenwich  Jr/Sr High School. When not working on a production somewhere, Zach can be found performing solo acoustic music.

 Terry is a RI-based actor, director, and sound designer who has been active in local and regional theater since 1986. Terry recently directed WBCT's 2025 production, Chicago, as well as 2023's Cabaret. Next up, Terry will direct Talk Radio for Barker Playhouse. As an actor, he recently appeared with The Players of Pawtucket Community Theater in BIG - THE MUSICAL and with The Players at Barker Playhouse in They Promised Her The Moon. Award-winning roles include Judge Turpin in CTC's Sweeney Todd (2015) and Sidney Bruhl in Barker Playhouse's Deathtrap (2018). Terry is a founding member and the current serving President of West Bay Community Theater  and is excited about the future of WBCT.

Jimmy Calitri (JESUS) holds an A.D. in Studio Art and Design, a B.A. in Theater Performance, a B.A. in Art History and Design, and an M.F.A. in Theatrical Performance in Society from Rhode Island College. He is a former adjunct faculty member and theatre director in the University of Rhode Island, Rhode Island College, and the Community College of Rhode Island Theatre Departments. Jimmy served as the Director of Theatre Arts at the Narragansett Public School System in Rhode Island for 11 years where he directed The Wiz which was awarded the ’Moss Hart’ award for ’Best Youth Production’ in New England in 2015. Professionally, Jimmy also directed A Lie of the Mind and Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf? at Perishable Theater in Providence. The latter was named ‘Best of Theater in 2010’ by The Phoenix Newspaper and ‘Best Professional Production of 2010’ by Motif Magazine. Jimmy also directed The Miracle Worker at Rhode Island College which was revived in Boston, MA at an International Fundraiser honoring Helen Keller’s legacy. Jimmy currently holds the position of Associate Professor of Theater (Acting, Musical Theatre, and Directing) at Providence College. Recently, as Artistic Director of Festival 56 outside of Chicago, IL, Jimmy directed the second incarnation of award-winning director Mark Shanahan’s SEE MONSTERS OF THE DEEP, Urinetown, Carrie: The Musical, and The Little Mermaid. His acting credits include appearances in URI’s musical productions, Into the Woods (The Baker), The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (Mitch Mahonney), Company(Larry) by Stephen Sondheim, and Mambo Italiano (Nino), a Performing Arts Series production at RIC as well as Miss Pixie’s Local Cable Access Holiday Extravaganza (Paul) at the Sandra Feinstein-Gamm Theatre. Jimmy dedicates this performance to his mom and his pup, Poe.

   Jamie Poskitt (Peggy) is thrilled to be making her theatrical debut with West Bay Community Theater (WBCT) working with this talented cast and wonderful crew! Jamie has performed with theatres in and around the South Shore and you may have even seen her in some New England based TV shows and films! She was last seen portraying Ethel Rogers in Agatha Christie's And Then There Were None with Attleboro Community Theatre. Favorite past roles include Reverend Hale in The Crucible (First Parish Players, Bridgewater) and Lenny in Crimes of the Heart (Milton Players, Canton). She extends heartfelt thanks to her family and friends for their endless love and support. She sends big Auntie hugs to Reese and Cole!

   Tyler Reid (Jeffrey) is very excited to be in the cast of Godspell. Tyler trained at the Rhode Island Philharmonic School, and he plays the drums, the timpani, and mallet instruments and has been playing for St. Thomas Church choir for decades and for the Warwick Symphony Orchestra for the past 5 years. He also has been the drummer of his family cover band, “The Reminders”. Productions Tyler has performed in include The Music Man, Les Misérables, and Evita. Tyler has a special love for Godspell, The Bible, and all things musical.

Tali Russell (Herb) Originally from the Lone Star state, Tali is a performer based in Providence, RI. She is so excited to return to WBCT after singing in the ensemble in last summer's Chicago in Concert. Recent highlights include Angie in anthropology (Players at Barker), Hermia in A Midsummer Night's Dream (Stadium Theatre), and Anne Page/Simple in The Merry Wives of Windsor (Taunton Performing Arts Center). She is also a co-founder of the fledgling theatre company Hysteria Collective.

  David Sackal (JUDAS/JBAP) is thrilled to be a part of Godspell at Westbay Community Theater! He is a Rhode Island-based actor and graduate of Rhode Island College with a degree in Theatre Performance. Regionally, he has taken part in productions at J-DAPA in Smithfield, Burbage Theatre in Pawtucket, and The Players in Providence.

 Genevra Stewart (Robin) was a dancer in over a dozen musicals at the Santa Barbara Civic Light Opera and attended AMDA in NYC. She has done several shows at The Newport Playhouse and at The Granite Theater in Westerly.  Genevra loves music , dancing, singing, sports  and almost anything you can do outside. Genevra has lived in East Greenwich for 18 years now and is proud to call Rhode Island home!

      Mahria Trepes (GILMER) is so happy and excited to be performing in Godspell. She is a music teacher in New Bedford, and has participated in several theater productions in the South Coast Area, including West Bay Community Theater's Production of Chicago, Seaglass Theater Company's Bernstein! A 100th Birthday Bash, New Bedford Festival Theater's My Fair Lady, and RISE's production of Sweeney Todd.
